Random photos of our York and London (and other places in between) travels from Facebook. It has been a year since.
I'm guilty of flipping through them often, just so I don't lose sight and forget.

Pickings from the warehouse sale. I'm incredibly excited to begin Octavian and The Year of Living, and it has been awhile since I've had such feelings for a book.
My head might get a scissor treatment tomorrow.

From Such Heights
I had a slight case of silverfish mishap in the past week, which left me in pain and with cool disgusting-looking lesions. One had crawled on me after escaping from an old book I left on my bed. So now, not only am I allergic to inhalation of silverfish residue (found that out while reading old books too closely years ago), I'm also averse to skin contact with them. Things have come a full circle.
The pace at work have slowed down till the end of this week. So can afford to make prototypes of upcoming zine in the office, stroll up and down hallways, read backdated magazines and make plans to watch a movie after work.
But of course, come Monday, everything will change.

In The Northern Parts
Had a quick flip through my older tweets and found some tweets I had sent via text message while travelling last year. Reading them made me feel funny, as I don't remember sending them at all.
Cheesy dim sum disco. Awesome.

It's so strange how it only gets dark here at around 10pm. And the sun rises at 3am. Wonky.

Looking back, I wished I had tweeted more, so that when today arrived, I would have more to cleave onto. It has been almost 10 months ago. And I find that every time I watch a British movie set in the northern country, I can almost smell the air, feel the cobblestones underneath my feet and the cold hitting my face. I would then feel my insides falling through me as I sit in the equatorian heat with swirling ceiling fan above me.
I am nowhere near, and today has no trace of what transpired then.
This song defines my weeks of travel in far too many ways.
